PROJECT BRIEF
PTA Landscapes were responsible for managing the entire works of this project from planning and design to project management and construction. The end result is a thriving central hub in the heart of the school environment featuring an array of hard and soft landscaping.

Some elements of the landscape that stand out is the large custom outdoor kitchen for outdoor learning activities, multiple gathering areas with precast concrete furniture, shade canopies and relaxed seating. The large urban canopee is a highlight of the project standing tall on a raised spotted gum deck.

Surrounded by a blend of low level Australian native and exotic plants the central hub will thrive with greenery over time. Accommodating to the needs of students and staff, the open space offers functional design with high-quality finishes allowing the social hub to be enjoyed by all for many years to come.

“This schoolground area feels like it has been installed for years, but remains sparkling and new, clean and green – it is a fantastic space for kids to enjoy. All materials in the design were very effective and durable, and numerous different elements, whilst not large in scale, present beautifully. Everything has been installed to a high level, with gaps and joins from timber to pavement smooth and detailed. Planting was also a highlight with exceptional plant spacing and smart selection of plants evident via the flourishing green life. Having been completed in a live school environment, material access along with noise and timing constraints made the degree of difficulty very high which PTA worked around seamlessly.”
