Through terraced retaining and layered planting, the steep slope of this residential landscape now seamlessly connects from its pool area to lawn space and alfresco dining zone. Featuring high-quality finishes and materials such as the floating concrete steps that add to the sites modern design. Fifth Season Landscapes has created a cohesive garden renovation that offers the clients more functional space with improved aesthetics.

“The Northbridge project demonstrates the very highest of creative and practical thinking combined to create an alluring outdoor space of timeless beauty. A very steep slope represented a significant challenge, however, the use of crisp floating concrete steps actually switched the slope into a feature by creating a beautiful transition from indoor to outdoor with a stunning outlook. The garden boasts both a grassed area and a renovated pool area all couched in a creative planting palette, complemented by a selection of material that would suit all tastes and style. The judges deemed this garden to be a true work of art.”
