PROJECT BRIEF
Mollison Park is a green community space encompassing the Heritage listed Peters Ice Cream factories with a blend of residential, retail, health and open space sections all positioned perfectly in the heart of the Sekisui House West Village Development.

Access to the site was a narrow strip off Mollison Street and with an overflow of trades made the building process a challenge. The end result is a magnificent display of both hard and soft landscaping within the project. From the central fig tree planter to the use of natural elements such as sandstone blocks and heritage brick pavers and seating, the central hub is a place where the community can socialise in an uplifting and beautiful green space.

“A public park project which contributes to the livable fabric of an inner-city green community. Situated over an existing car park, the works were completed as podium works with various levels built up via block work and the selective use of sandstone. The central fig tree planter is built over a large void completed with specified soil blends and again built up with block work, sandstone blocks and steppers and further complimented by the use of heritage brick pavers and seating. This project is skillfully constructed and detailed. The planting and hard works have a level of excellence that makes this project a deserving winner.”
