PROJECT BRIEF
Looking to reinvigorate it’s unique and iconic quadrangle courtyard for its upcoming 175th anniversary, Pulteney Grammar enlisted the help of Adelaide Innovative Landscaping to freshen up the infamous quadrangle area.
The design incorporated a blend of traditional heritage design with modern elements, including slate crazy paving which has been in the school’s design aesthetic for its full 175-year history. Other structural modern additions included granite paving, precast concrete featuring seating and composite decking.
The diverse range of hardscaping elements using stone and granite materials is balanced out by the central grass area, providing a harmonious contrast of tones and textures. Adelaide Innovative Landscaping have rejuvenated the fully functional courtyard allowing the outdoor space to be used for many years to come.
