PROJECT BRIEF
Hamilton Kids Club is a purpose-built early learning centre for young children with the aim of supporting relationships between children, families and the community. With a focus on play-based learning, the team at Logan Landscapes were engaged to create the outdoor learning environment to induce creativity and imagination.

To create this fun playspace for the children to enjoy a variety of elements were included in both soft and hard landscaping to achieve the end result. These included a safety glass balustrade to sandstone walls, a sandpit with a draining and filter cloth, fibreglass animal structures, rubber paths and paint markings, fencing, a hardwood timber bridge, a water creek including pump and tank to a creek bed, spray jets, cubby installations and plantings.

The overall design and construction allow the children to engage in imaginative play. From large fibreglass animal structures to waterplay, the options are endless for guaranteed fun.

“A beautiful, interesting and entertaining space for children. So many objects and features, all constructed to an excellent standard. The timberwork and painting construction is beautifully detailed and though-through. The challenges of being constructed within a historic building, varied slope and drainage mitigation issues and late inclusion of additional features, were not lost on the judges. The aeroplane and giraffe really take this space to the next level – well-done construction team!”
