PROJECT BRIEF:

With a brief to bring ‘city making and liveability’ to the heart of the Curtin University campus, the vision was for generous and sustainable public and communal spaces that would cohesively connect four significant building on campus to each other. Construction to be completed safely whilst the University stayed open, Deep Green Landscaping supplied and installed all hard and soft landscaping elements on the project, including within buildings, surrounding pathways and outdoor zones, and liaised and coordinated with subcontractors on site to deliver lavish high-end outdoor campus spaces.

Some elements Deep Green Landscaping completed on the project include shade shelters, pathways, decking, outdoor seating, brick and concrete walls, security screenings, bridges, an outdoor barbecue area, herb garden, undercover softfall area, volleyball court with accompanying shaded seating zone, garden beds and plantings throughout and installation of mature trees.

Overcoming a number of challenges, Deep Green Landscaping has delivered a high-quality, expansive University campus landscape that fits the brief and provides students and staff with numerous green spaces to relax, study and take part in outdoor learning opportunities.
